Common Pheasants (Phasianus colchicus)
Originally from Persia and the Caucuses, pheasants are found all over Eurasia and North America. During the autumn months male pheasants come into full plumage and fight each other for mates.
All my illustrations are printed giclée, which is the archival quality gold-standard for high-resolution, large-format, fine art prints. In a nutshell this means even the largest prints will not begin to fade for about 150 years. The giclée printing is done on 310gsm Hahnemühle German Etching Paper, a thick pulpy paper with a velvety surface - ideal for watercolor reproductions. The combination of using giclée printing on this kind of porous paper makes these reproductions indistinguishable from the originals to the point where I myself have gotten confused 😅
Each print is offered in various print sizes, remember to select the one that works best for you!
