I am a self-taugh illustrator who grew up in the thick forests and bustling markets of East Africa. My inspiration is the rain, the sky, and my gran who taught me to love colour.
I illustrate books, academic papers, and calendars as well paint commissions to frame and hang on your wall. Sometimes I even paint for fun. If you love wildlife, watercolours, and wanderlust you are in the right place.
As you begin to scroll down imagine it is 1830 and you are stepping aboard the Beagle with Darwin, Wallace, and I - clutching our sketchbooks, ready to capture in watercolour everything the forests and islands will throw at us!

I am honoured to have had created work for several scientific publications. These papers have involved studies primate coloration and animal aposematism.
I have also had the priviledge of making art for storybooks, educational programs and more. These projects allow me to explore new thematic elements and inspire my imagination.
It is important to me to do what I can to help to protect our planet's wildlife ecosystems. For that reason, a portion of the profits from my sales are donated to organizations that support animal populations and protect habitats.
