Asian Lady Beetles, while very beautiful and friendly, are an invasive species which only arrived in Brandenburg in 2014. They eat four times more aphids than European Lady Beetles and can reproduce at least twice every year in spring and summer. Many cultures view lady beetles to be a lucky sign!
