Peacock Butterflies are relatively common through the spring and early summer in the parks, gardens, and woodlands of Brandenburg. The "eyespots" on their wings are thought to mimic the eyes of birds of prey like hawks so as to frighten off the smaller birds that try to eat these beautiful insects!
All our prints are available on a range of matt and lustre finishes, each carefully profiled for fantastically accurate and consistent reproductions using giclée printing techniques.
